Do you have to be a member to play The Woods' golf courses?

No. The Woods is a semi-private facility. Greens fee play is permitted.

Is there a dress code on the golf course?

Yes, appropriate attire is required (No T-shirts, tank tops, short shorts or jogging attire).

Is The Woods a non-metal spike facility?

Yes. Metal spikes are not permitted.

How far in advance may I make a tee time?

Tee times may be made 7 days in advance.

Are lessons available?

Yes, lessons are available. Call 304-754-7222 to arrange for lessons with our PGA Pro.

Are club rentals available?

Yes, there are a limited number of rental clubs available (including left-handed clubs)

Are children permitted to drive the golf carts.

Only individuals with valid driver's licenses are permitted to drive the golf carts.

Do I have to rent a cart or may I walk the course?

Walking is permitted. While the courses play fairly flat, there are some hilly areas between the greens & tees. Because of this some may find it a challenging course to walk.

Is there a snack bar on-site?

Yes, the Clubhouse Grille is open seasonally.

Do you have practice facilities?

Yes. The Woods has a driving range, practice putting green and practice chipping green.

Is there a Pro Shop?

Yes. A fine selection of clothing, clubs, golf bags and accessories are available for purchase.
